Since Henry Ford began mass production of Fords in the early 1900’s, the domestic car industry has gone through many changes. The Great Depression and World War II had a drastic effect on production as well as the dramatic rise of imported vehicles in the past 30 years has resulted in wholesale consolidation helping the Big Three Automakers survive. |
